U.S. ERECTING DEVICE

(Rea.l p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 23. The Secretary of War, Mr. H. L. Stimson, told-the Press that the army was working very hard to erect radio locator, devices- all along the coast which would be capable of detecting hostile ships and planes 100 miles distant.The locators can "see" at night through fogs and clouds and tell the. location of enemy craft. To meet the new demand for radio technicians, Fort Monmouth Signal Corps School is now training 14,000 men in its laboratories.
