TEN LIBERATORS USED
MELBOURNE, April 16. Three American Flying Fortresses and ten Liberator (Consolidatedi bombers carried out the devastating series of raids on enemy bases in the Philippines on Monday and Tuesday. The raids were made under the command of Brigadier-General Ralph Royce. He and Lieutenant-Colonel J. H. Davies and Captain F. P. Abostrum were each decorated with the American Distinguished Flying Cross when they arrived at an Australian airport last night.
