RESTRICTIONS ON SMALL
CRAFT
General and local restrictions on the movements of small craft within the territorial limits of New Zealand are impqsed by the Shipping Safety .(Small Craft) Order issued last night. The restrictions apply to all small craft except vessels engaged on Government or Harbour Board service, trading vessels, fishing boats covered by the Fishing Boats. Emergency Regulations, 1941, and vessels being used during a period, of emergency. Permits may be granted by any constable for the use of the small craft concerned, subject to the condition that they may be revoked at any time.
