MELBOURNE, February 25. Trainer Jack Fryer was greatlty disappointed with Skipton's effort in the Futurity Stakes, and stated thai whether the colt would run in the St Leger Stakes depended upon the progress he made in the next few days Furthermore, unless he wins the S,t Leger comfortably he would be spelled immediately. M. McCarten has accepted the mount on Saul in the Australian Cup. He won the race on that horse last year, and earlier on Heroic-Prince.
