GERMAN CLAIM
ANKARA BOMB INCIDENT
(Rec. 11.20 a.m.) ANKARA, Feb. 25
The police reveal that letterheads from the German Embassy were found among scraps of clothing of the man who was blown to pieces by the bomb which he threw at the German Ambassador, Herr yon Papen. A telegram receipt was also found which may lead to the identification of the man. Berlin claims that the bombing was connected with alleged Anglo-Russian intrigue, the motive of which was probably to prevent the publication of Turkish documents which are said to refer to Mr. Eden's recent negotiations in Moscow.
Some of Herr yon Papan's clothes were torn off by the force of the explosion.
