RAIDERS' LOSSES OVER JAVA
(Rec. 11 a.m.) , RUGBY. Feb. 25. j In the course of yesterday various air actions took place over Java. The Japanese lost one fighter- shot down for certain. Most probably, however, there were three Japanese fighters shot down.
One Japanese bomber was shot down for certain. Most probably, however, five enemy bombers were shot down.
The'peculiar character of the terrain in Java has greatly hampered the tracing of destroyed enemy aircraft. — 8.0. W.
