LARGE DEATH DUTIES
More than half the value of the estate of the late Mrs. Alice Merry, who was lound dead at her home in Cambridge Terrace last October, has been paid out in death duties. The estate was sworn for probate at under £105,000, and death duties amounted to approximately £55,700. Cash assets were available to meet the duties. No will was found, but eleven beneficiaries have been located.
