An epidemic of petty theft has been rife throughout, Britain since the outbreak of the war, says, the "Sun day Express." Thieves have pilfered commodities in short supply worth £2,000.000. Railway companies report that goods worth £1,000,00.0 were pilfered in a year, Since rationing started, thousands of tons of meat, sugai% tea, butter, and milk have been stolen from docks.—B.O.W.
