MINISTRY BEGUN
METHODIST ORDINANDS
While they were entering upon their ministry in troublesome times they were also on the threshold of a life during which they would, by the grace of God, see the world remade, said the president of the Methodist Conference, the Rev. W. Walker, when welcoming seven ordinands to the conference today. A time of trial was also a time of testing, he said, and those just entering the ministry would have a wonderful opportunity in the days to come
The ordinarids, who will be ordained by the ex-president of the conference, the Rev. W. A. Burley, M.A., on Sunday, were Messrs. H. E. Harkness, M.A., Ernest Hoddinott, William It. Laws, 8.A., Wesley L. Long, Ashleigh Petch, John Silvester, 8.A., and Harris Whitfield. They were welcomed to full membership of the conference.
