WAR RESTRICTIONS
NEW ORDERS IN EIRE
(Rec. 10 a.m.) DUBLIN, Feb. 19. Bread rationing was introduced in Eire today. A new order imposes a compulsory censorship of Press messages and all printed matter leaving Eire. Printers and publishers can now be prohibited from printing any specified matter or classes of matter, and can be compelled to submit matter to the censor before printing. The power to seize documents is extended to articles which are not documents but the sale or distribution of which is likely to lead to a breach of the peace or to offend friendly nations.
