"Unholy Partners."
In "Unholy Partners," the new picture at the St. James Theatre tomorrow, Edward Arnold appears as the overlord of New York gangsters who buys a half interest in a tabloid newspaper edited by the star, Edward G. Robinson. They battle over policy, and several times Robinson risks his life among the gunmen. Laraine Day has the Feminine lead as Robinson's secretary, with wh6m he is in ■ love. Then there is Marsha Hunt as a Broadway singer, over whose father Arnold has a financial hold which bodes her no good. She is in love with a reporter, Orr. In the eventual showdown Arnold produces a gun, and in the struggle that ensues Robinson shoots him. Robinson finds his own destiny by joining a transocean flight destined to fail.
