FRUIT DAMAGED
Charles Kirkpatrick Newsome, a gardener, aged 48, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, charged with committing mischief by wilfully damaging fruit in an Indian fruiterer's shop. The police said he had tried to "clean up the whole place," and Newsome said that he went in to complain j^bout some fruit and -accidentally knocked some over. The Magistrate convicted him and ordered him to make good the damage. " '' . ; . .
