CHINA'S THANKS
MONEY FOR RED CROSS
The Chinese Government's appreciation of the gift of £5000 made recently by the New Zealand Government to the Chinese Red Cross Fund is expressed in a cable message received by the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The message reads:—
"We beg to express deep appreciation and sincere thanks of the Chinese Government and people for New Zealand Government's generous donation for Red Cross Fund which cannot fail to fasten the friendship between our two allied nations."
