CHAIR OF LAW
AUCKLAND APPOINTMENT
(PA.) AUCKLAND, February 16. To fill the vacancy caused by the resignation last November of Dr. J. Stone, Professor of Law at Auckland University College, the College Council has decided to appoint Dr. A. G. Davis. Dr. Stone resigned to take up an appointment in Australia. Graduating as a Bachelor of Laws at Auckland University College in 1922, i Dr. Davis left New Zealand- in 1928 and was lecturing in the London1 School of Economics and Hull University College for some time. During the last four years he has lectured at the University of Wales. Dr. Davis is already en route to New Zealand, and is expected to take up his duties shortly. ___________
