PROBABLY SUNK
THREE ENEMY SUBMARINES
LONDON, February 16. In Washington today the Army Air Corps revealed the probable destruction of an enemy submarine off the east coast of the United States. „ v A bomber dropped four bombs on the submarine when it tried to crashdive after attacking a tanker. The probable sinking of two other enemy submarines off the east coast of Canada is also reported.
