RUGBY, February 15. The King has conferred upon Marshal Chiang Kai-shek the insignia Of Honorary Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Military Division, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the Allied I cause.—B.O.W. 15,000 British fortress troops and volunteers and 13,000 Australians. The remainder were said to be Indians. There are 1,000,000 inhabitarits still in Singapore, including 100,000 British. ROme radio announced that a Japanese armoured division entered Singapore at 3 a.m. local time. The Government buildings were beflagged. <
