AIR OFFICIAL TESTS TYPHOON FIGHTER
LONDON, February 16. "The Times" -reports that, Captain Balfour, the tinder-Secretary for Air, has piloted the ITyphobn fighter. The test fully confirmed the plane's earlier promise. The plane climbed at a splendid pace, and showed that it is iihdoubtedly the fastest fighter Britain has produced. Captain Balfour flies each riew type of plane; he has now tried out the Spitfire, Hurricane, "Whirlwind, and "Typhoon. i_e is 44 years old and has been a pilot since 1915. t An appeal for donations of typewriters to facilitate E.P.S. work has been issued by the T6Wn Clerk, Mr. E.
