Results of an eventful series; of matches In the Wellington Cricket Association's senior grade on Saturday afternoon bring Array, Karori, Hutt, and Kilb'irnle on level.terms again as leaders for the championship. Army won from Petone, but Kitrorl lost to Wellington College Old Boys, and in the other Hrst division match Kilbirnie and Hiitt did not register championship points, theii' match being drawn. Hoar (from Wairarapa) and Mooney topped the list of meritorious batting performances in the division, and amongst numerous bowlers to perform conspicuously were Couplund, Browne, Andrews, Snedden, Willis, C. Aluir, and Allen. ; In the senior second division there were exceptional happenings. With barely two and a quarter hours in which to make 278 runs Johnsonville accomplished the task, the win over Institute Old Boys being gained in the last over of the match, which produced 555 runs. There was some exceptionally fast scoring in Johusonvllle's innings, with Williams'and Parsloe the principal figures, Parsloe going close to a century and making most of his runs from boundary hits. Institute's batting also had its bright features, Sheffield, Ormlston, and others showing up well. Declarations by both sides and some show of batting initiative enabled Wellington to score an outright win over St. Patrick's College Old Boys. University, with Stringer and Paetz in scoring mood, won from Midland.
