SIR BERTRAM STEVENS'S POST
(Rec. 9 a.m.) CANBERRA, Dec. 2
The Commonwealth Government does not intend to recall Sir Bertram Stevens from his post as Australian representative on the Eastern Group Supply Council.
Cabinet is of the opinion that it would be undesirable, in view of the tension in the Far East, to make a change in this important post which controls a vital flow of war materials.
