POLICE RAID CABARET
(P.A.) ' DUNEDIN, December 2. The Brown House, a cabaret situated on the Main North Road on the outskirts of the city, was raided by the police on Saturday night. A quantity of liquor was seized, and as a result a number of prosecutions are pending. The place has been a popular Saturday night resort for the younger set of Dunedin, but according to the police it has been the subject of a number of complaints. Dancing was in progress when the police arrived about 10.30 p.m._
