FRIEDMAN PIANO RECITAL.
What a celebrated critic said of Ignaz Friedman, the eminent Polish pianist, "His art knows no limits of a technical or musical nature," will be. proved in Friedman's only public performance in Wellington at the Town Hall tomorrow. Among the items which Friedman will play will be Haydn's "Variations in F Minor," Beethoven's "Sonata in E Minor, Op. 90," and, in his Chopin group, the immortal "Fantasie in F Minor, Op. 49." Lovers of Schubert will welcome the inclusion in the programme of "Old Vienna". (Schu-bert-Friedman) . The box plan is filling up at the D.I.C. Proceeds will go to the patriotic funds.
