AIR ACCIDENTS
TWO AT BLENHEIM
AIRCRAFTMAN KILLED
LOCAL PILOT INJUPvED
Two air accidents were reported from the R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Blenheim, today.
In one Leading Aircraftman Felix Patrick Ulenberg, who was flying solo during night flying training, was killed when his machine crashed. The cause of the accident is obscure.
In the other accident Pilot Officer Clive Dudley Alfred Highet—whose father, Mr G. C. Highet, lives at 4 Maida Vale Road, Roseneath, Wellington, was severely injured. The' other occupant of the machine, L.A.C. Thomas Leslie Cowin, was not injured. This accident occurred during landing following on night flying training. '
L.A.C. Ulenberg was born at Stratford in 1915. and educated at New Plymouth Boys' High School. His mother is Mrs. A. T. Ulenberg, 147 St Aubyn Street, New Plymouth.
A court of inquiry' is being held,
