BLOMFIELD AND ATKINS.
Lofty Blomfield, New Zealand wrestling champion, will have one of the toughest matches of his career at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night, when he will seek his revenge on Fred Atkins, the Australian titleholder. Atkins beat Blomfield in the latter's first match for the present season, and the tactics which he employed in the process were strongly criticised by the crowd. Since then Blomfield has been in hard training and has also had a series of matches to work him into his best form. He is confident that when he comes up against the rugged Australian again the proceedings will take a decidedly different turn from what they did at Auckland. The great interest which the public is taking in the match has resulted in heavy reservations of seats, and those who have not already booked should lose no time.
