MR. JUSTICE HAWKE . /

LONDON, October 30,

Mr. Justice Hawke, who opened the Essex. Assizes at Chelmsford yesterday; was found dead in his bed this morning at his lodgings. Death is believed to have been due to heart failure. He was appointed a Judge of the King's Bench Division in 1928. Formerly he was Recorder of Plymouth. •
