FALL FROM TRAIN
NEW ZEALAND VICTIM?
SYDNEY, October 30.
A railway passenger, believed to be a New Zealander, Charles Campbell Pike, aged 53, who probably arrived in Sydney last Saturday from Waipukurau, was found critically injured beside a railway line near Taree, on the north coast, yesterday, and died later.
A diary which was found in his clothes gave the man's name, age, and address, and his rail ticket revealed that he had visited Grafton, where police ascertained he had a sister whom he had not seen for 30 years.
Police inquiries today led to the, belief that he accidentally fell from a train platform.
