TURKEY'S DANGER
ANKARA, October 30,
Addressing crowds attending a parade commemorating the eighteenth anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic, President Inonu said that Turkey was peaceful, but was ready to undertake anything in order to preserve her integrity.
If Turkey were drawn into the turmoil—it was now on the edge of a volcano—only conscientious, hardworking people, ready for every sacrifice, would be capable of overcoming their difficulties.
