PLANES FOR RUSSIA
RENEWED PLEDGE IN BRITAIN

6 This managements, workers, and shop stewards of one of the aircraft jig- and tool-making concerns in Britain, following mass meetings held simultaneously throughout their factories, have telegraphed the Minister of Aircraft Production, Colonel J. T. C. Moore-Brabazon, pledging themselves to combine in order to do everything possible to increase the output essential to the war effort, and requesting that all possible aid should be sent to Russia.
The Minister, in a telegraphed reply, expressed appreciation of the spirit of co-operation existing among the managements and workers concerned, and .said: "I am with you, heart and soul, in your efforts towards production, and in your desire to give all possible aid to our Russian ally.
"To meet this increased demand on our industry, we must redouble our eftorts. I give you my assurance that we are playing dur part'Here."l-8.0.W.
