GREEN.—On October 19,-1941, Sarah, beloved wife of Thomas Green and devoted mother of Bert, John, and Maisle Kirkland, Mrs. Simmons, and Mrs. Jameison; aged 62.
JUDD.—Catherine Jane, on October 14, 1941, fit Gisborne, dearly-loved mother of Mrs. T. C. Currle, 332 Adelaide Road, Wellington; aged 81. Interred at Gisborne. <
MacFARLANE.—On October 19, 1941, at Wellington Hospital, Alexander James, late of Nal Nai, Lower Hutt, husband of the late Amelia Connell, in his 78th, year, survived by his daughters, Mrs. D. Hay and Mrs. G. Dickson, of Lower Hutt, and his sons, Alex., of Lower Hutt, Peter, of Petone, Daniel, on active service overseas, and William, in Scotland. Predeceased by his son James, of Brooklyn, Wellington.
MURPHY.—Iris, wife of F. D. Murphy, 262 Fitzherbert Avenue,. Palmerston North, beloved daughter of Mr. T. Pierson, 17 Railway Avenue, Lower Hutt. Deeply mourned.
PANKHURST.—On October 18, 1941, at Te Kuiti'(result.of accident), Douglas Eric, dearlybeloved youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Pankhurst, 179 Glenmore Street, Kelburn, and brother of Edward and Rodney; aged 36 years. (Interred at Te Kuiti today.)
STALKER.—On October 19, 1941, at Wellington, Jane, relict of the late David Stalker, Dunedin. Deeply mourned. (Private Interment.)
