OBITUARY
MRS. F. W. G. RULE
The death occurred with tragic suddenness on Tuesday night of Mrs. F. W. G. Rule, a highly-respected resident of Otaki. Mrs. Rule, who recently returned from the South Island, had been to the train to see visitors away, and. had returned to her husband's chemist shop when she collapsed and died. Mrs. Rule was a very active member of the Women's Institute and the Plunket Society, and an ardent Church worker.
The funeral, which took place on Thursday, was, despite the heavy downpours of rain, largely attended, many coming; from a long distance. The service at the church and graveside were conducted by the Rev. James Cumming. Among the wreaths were ones from the Women's Institute, Plunket Society, Rahri Football Club, and the Railway Bowling Club.
