WEDDING IN ENGLAND
BRIDE A WELLINGTON GIRL

The marriage took place recently at All Saints' Church, Wittering, Lincolnshire, of Wing Commander Patrick Geraint Jameson, D.F.C. (Lower Hutt) and Miss Hilda Webster (Wellington) The Rev. J. W. Rogers; rector, officiated.
The bride was given away by Group Captain P. C. E. Embry A.D.C., D.5.0., A.F.C. She wore a trained model gown ol white jersey silk, and her long tulle veil was held in place by a circlet of orange blossom. Instead of a bouquet the bride carried a Prayer book and marker with roses attached to the long ends. The bridesmaid. Miss Barbara Gillespie (also of Wellington), wore white satin. Her Vshaped headdress was of pansies and the same flowers were used to finish her Prayer book marker.
The best man was Squadron Leader D. Heritage, D.F.C.
As the bride and bridegroom left the church they were showered with rose leaves and miniature Spitfires. The reception was held by Group«Cap(ain and Mrs. Embry at their house. While it was in progress a squadron of Spitfires to which Wing Commander Jameson was formerly attached, carried out a formation "beat" and "peeled off" oVer the house.
Wing Commander Jameson was awarded the D.FC last year.
