EXPLODES DURING ATTACK

(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) . RUGBY, Sept. 8. How a German flak ship was destroyed off Ostend today by a Spitfire armed with cannon and machineguns is told by the Air Ministry news service. The Spitfire was on reconnaissance when the pilot saw three flak ships • near Ostend.
