The Hutt Valley Harriers held a fivemile road race from Hutt Park, the winner being N. Taylor; his time was 24min 17sec.. R. Robbie was second and L. Mallowes third..
The winning team for the Saunders road race cup was:—Taylor 1, Mallowes 3, Lovatt 6, a total .of 10 points. The second team comprised R. Bobbie 2, J. Goss 4, and C. Newlands 5, total 11 points. . .
