NAPIER, August 19. ; I "The idea is fantastic," commented Mr. Barnard, M.P. for Napier, when a i rumour current in Ifapier that he would stand at the General Elections for a constituency othef than Napier was referred to him this morning. "The thought has never entered my head," he added. "Why should I run away from Napier, which I hope to serve for many years yet?"
