Moscow admits German progress m the new thrust on Leningrad. The Germans are reported to have reached Kingisenn, north-east of Lake Peipus and 70 miles from Leningrad, and also to be advancing down the west coast of Lake Ladoga.

A Moscow communique admits that Kirigisenn has been evacuated.
