Mr. J. Potter, an engine-driveiv of 15 Coromandel Street, was knocked down by a car while cycling in Waterloo Quay at about 10.40 p.m. yesterday, and taken to hospital suffering from scalp wounds and slight concussion. Mr. C. F. Mackintosh, a ship's cook, was knocked down by a car outside Stewart Dawson's at 2.30 a.m. today, and taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance suffering from scalp wounds and concussion.
