INJURED OFFICERS

The condition of Captain H. Whitbread, A.D.C. to General Sir Guy Williams, military adviser to the New Zealand, Government, was unchanged yesterday and he was still unconscious in the Whakatane Hospital. Lieutenant G. Murray, of the Paeroa area office staff, had much improved, and he is now suffering only from cuts and abrasions.

These two officers were injured in a motor collision nine miles from Whakatane on Saturday afternoon.
