CAMP ENTERTAINERS
"ALL STAR" PROGRAMME
That the executive committee of the Official Camp Entertainers is successful in giving the men in camp the best possible entertainment was fullydemonstrated recently, when the YM.C.A. Theatre was filled with an enthusiastic audience. Mr. Muller was responsible for the programme and he had assembled an "all star" show. At times the applause was deafening.
The popularity of "turns" given by the following performers called for encores:—The Rhythm Band, the "Kennedy Sisters," the "McKeavan Sisters" (novelty items). Bobbie Katz and Trio (dialogue and dancing). Messrs Norman Saunders (instrumental). Peter Rowell, Lionel Bent, and P. Murdoch (songs). Will Henry (banjo and mouthorgan solos), little Leigh Brewer (tap dances), and the McGowan Trio Messrs. R. Williams and Wood were in charge of the microphone and Mr L. Harbord was accompanist.
Captain Hollowes. on behalf of the Camp Commandant, thanked Mr. Muller and party for the excellent show The guests were entertained at supper by Captain Wallace and officers of No 3 Training Unit.
The executive is grateful to the Automobile Association, Miss B. Coltman. Miss Thompson, and Messrs Alston. Sapsford. Chapman, Hawke. Greek, Delley. and Miller for providing cars for transport.
