The complete understanding achieved in his conference with Mr. Winston Churchill had unified Britain and the United States in such a way as to permit of even more smooth action by the two nations in any eventuality, said President Roosevelt in a conference with Press representatives when he landed today at Rockland, Maine.

The President said that on all aspects of the war situation he and Mr. Churchill were in complete agreement.
