CHILD DROWNED
I (P.A.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Kevin James Corrigan, aged two and a half, was drowned yesterday in the Jordan River at Upper Awatere, when visiting a sheep station with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Corrigan, of Picton. Kevin and his small sister were playing near the river when the boy i'ell in. A station hand rode downstream on horseback and recovered the body half a mile away.
