, « MR. ENDEAN'S POSITION Th^ leader of the Opposition (Mr. Holland) stated last night, in reply to an inquiry, ■ that he had no comment to make on the report from Auckland that over 300 members of the National Party in the Remuera electorate had decided to select a candidate for the Remuera seat by postal ballot. The five nominations to go to the ballot do not include the name of the sitting member, Mr. W. P. Endean, who, Mr. Holland stated earlier, would be* the National Party candidate.
