CZECH'S SUICIDE

CALLED TO ACCOUNT BY GESTAPO

LONDON, August 14. M. Bazilek, general manager of the Berg and Hutten steel works in Czechoslovakia, which is one of the largest now working for Germany, has committed suicide, reports the "Daily Express." He was called to Berlin because the Gestapo had found many acts of sabotage at the steel works, and as he was unable to explain them the Gestapo chief, Herr Himmler, held him responsible. On his return to the works M | Bazilek went to his office and shot I himself.
