LONDON, August 15 j Among the victims of the transatlantic ferry-plane disaster on Sunday | was Mr. Arthur Purvis, head of the : British Purchasing Commission in North America. A message has been sent by the British Government to the Government of i Canada expressing sympathy on the .death of Mr. Purvis. Of the 22 victims, 12 were United States subjects serving in the Atlantic ferry service. A personal investigation on behalf of the Air Minister is now being carried out by Captain Balfour, Undersecretary of Air.
