| With spring cleaning, painting, and • whitewashing comes the problem of •the paint brush. Here is a method of ; keeping any paint brush in good con-

dition and ready for use when required. Bore a hole in the handle —burn it through with an iron skewer is the easiest way—and stick the skewer through the hole and suspend the brush, over the paint pot as shown, so that the bristles are just immersed in liquid —either turpentine or water, the former is best.
