Concern amongst members of the Home Guard by a case reported recently from Southland of a guardsman not receiving conipeni sation for an injury on parade has been removed. It has been made clear by the Minister in Charge , of War Pensions (Mr. Jones) that there is provision for Home Guardsmen injured in the course of training to make claims under the War Pensions Act.
