HEADLIGHT RESTRICTIONS
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Permit me to make an appeal through your paper to motorists to conform strictly to the headlight restrictions. An excellent service is being maintained for the public by N.Z.R. Road Services and its drivers under trying conditions, and co-operation by our fellow-motorists would be greatly appreciated. To adhere to our timetable under the present ightirig regulations is a strain, and a rigid observance by other road users would help us considerably. I would also appeal to intending passengei*s on a bus stop to^ show something white or else flash a torch to give us sufficient warning of their presence. / I trust these appeals will be accepted in the spirit in which they are written. —I am, etc., A. K. HEMINGWAY. .
