Eighty members of the Star Boating Club were either overseas or preparing to go, said Mr. R. L. Evatt, speaking at the prize-giving ceremony of the Star Boating Club last night. That was a wonderful record, he said, and it spoke volumes for rowing when it was realised that not one member of the club who had enlisted for overseas service had been turned down.
