, Lady Hutchison, Dunedin, who is visiting Christchurch, is expected in Wellington at tLe weekend, en route to Wanganui.
Mrs. Downs, Wellington, wife pf Captain J. Downs, arrived in Christchurch yesterday. She is the guest of Mrs. A. P. MacDufr, and will later spend a holiday in Timaru and Dunedin.
Mrs. M. H. Davis, Eastbourne, will leave by steamer express tonight for the south, where she will visit Dunedin.
, Mrs. J. Smither, Wellington, visited Christchurch at-the weekend for the diamond wedding of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rowe, Riccarton.
Mrs. H. A. Gilbert returned to Wellington this week after a visit to friends in Christchurch and North Canterbury.
Misses E. M. Ewart and. J. Gillingham, who have been the guests of Mrs. W. T. Veitch, Gisborne, returned to Wellington this week.
( Miss G. Acton-Adams, Clarence Reserve, Marlborough, who is visiting Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Lloyd Astley, Titirangi.
