AUSTRALIAN WAR LOAN
(Rec. 1 p.m.) CANBERRA, May 20. The Commonwealth's £35,000,000 war loan closed oversubscribed by £750,000. Mr. A. W. Fadden, the Acting Prime Minister, stated the whole amount would be vised for war purposes. Nearly 52,000 individual subscriptions were received. —U.P.A.
