N.Z. TROOPS' TAILS UP
CONFIDENCE IN FIGHTING
ABILITY
(Ree. 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 19. The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, told a representative of the British United Press at Cairo that the New Zealand troops had returned from Greece with their tails up. He added: "They are thoroughly convinced that they can wipe out the Germans' if the odds are more or less equal." He said that the decision to send an expeditionary force to Greece was absolutely right. , Asked whether the situation in the Pacific had improved, he replied: "If I knew what happened when Mr. Mat--suoka and Herr .Hitler met, I could answer that question."—U.P.A.
