SPANISH CABINET

CHANGES FORECAST

MORE POWERS FOR SUNER?

LONDON, May 18,

A report from Madrid says that Senor Suner, the Spanish Foreign Minister, handed his resignation to General Franco, but that General Franco refused to accept it. The Spanish Cabinet meets tomorrow, and agency messages suggest it will be reorganised in a way which will give Senor Suner wider powers. General Franco is reported today to have removed from their posts the heads of the Sp.anish Press and Propaganda Departments. Both are members of the National Council of the Falange Party.
